This course will re-certify your 40-hour qualification. The course is presented by blending classroom theory and practice, with two days of outdoor practical scenarios. For successful certification, participants must complete the online learning components: Intermediate First Aid Exam and the WAFA Final Exam, complete all required skills and attend all course sessions.
Successful course participants will receive Wilderness Advanced First Aid Certification and Intermediate First Aid and Level C CPR re-certification (for the workplace). The Intermediate First Aid certification is recognized by Alberta Occupational Health & Safety.
