Wilderness First Aid and Outdoor Safety Training
Rocky Mountain Adventure Medicine courses are offered to the public in collaboration with two of Alberta’s most respected outdoor education providers: Yamnuska Mountain Adventures and the University of Calgary Outdoor Centre.
RMAM is also a training partner with the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The Outdoor Centre began in 1976 as a simple rental shop focused on renting students camping and outdoor sports equipment at the cheapest possible rate. Over the years they have adding rental equipment and programs and expanded their service to the public to the point of becoming the largest centre of its kind in North America. This year they will probably process about 22,000 rental orders and help over 10,000 clients enjoy over 30 unique activities or skills.
Their goal is to provide you the experience, knowledge, and equipment you need to make outdoor activity a regular part of your active lifestyle. With their experienced team of coordinators, and thousands of satisfied users every year they are feel confident that they can provide you a excellent experience.
