This course is designed for wilderness professionals- guides and leaders, those who are going on extended and remote expeditions, or those wishing to work as professional ski patrollers in Alberta. This intense 9 day program involves a high level of commitment from the learner.   For successful certification, participants are required to complete the Intermediate First Aid Online Exam, the WFR Chapter Review Exam,  the WFR Final Exam, the required skills components and attend all course sessions.

Course Runs:  Tuesday – Friday, April 2 – 5, (9:00am – 5:00pm) and Monday – Friday, 8 – 12, 2024 (9:00am – 5:00pm)

This course is designed for wilderness professionals- guides and leaders, those who are going on extended and remote expeditions, or those wishing to work as professional ski patrollers in Alberta. This course will be hosted through Yamnuska Mountain Adventures. 

Sessions run 8:30 – 4:30 daily.

No classes on September 14 & 15.
