This course is designed for wilderness professionals- guides and leaders, those who are going on extended and remote expeditions, or those wishing to work as professional ski patrollers in Alberta. This intense program involves a high level of commitment from the learner. It is delivered over 10 days, with 9 teaching days and 1 day for self study. For successful certification, participants are required to complete the Intermediate First Aid Online Exam, the WFR Chapter Review Exam, the WFR Final Exam, the required skills components and attend all course sessions.
