WORKPLACE FIRST AID

The Advanced First Aid Blended Re-Certification program is workplace first aid training approved by Alberta OHS.  The course is designed for professionals who need advanced first aid certification for workplace compliance or remote operations. The training combines scenario-based learning with expert instruction, to reinforce your skills and equip you with the confidence required to lead in critical moments.

This is the right course for you if:

• Your employer requires you to have Advanced First Aid Certification.
• You want to gain equivalency at OFA 3 level.
• You work in a ‘High Hazard workplace’ (see OHS definition) with 100 or more employees on site, that is over 20 minutes away from a health care facility under normal travel conditions using available means of transportation.
• You work in a ‘High Hazard’ workplace (see OHS definition) with 50 or more employees on site, that is over 40 minutes away from a health care facility under normal travel conditions using available means of transportation.
• You prefer a condensed course that delivers key skills in less time, without compromising quality.
• You are committed to complete the intensive online learning course in advance of attending the in-person skills training course.
