24-hour Remote First Aid and Blended First Aid Blended

The Remote First Aid program is a great introduction to wilderness first aid and is intended for those who recreate in the backcountry or work in a non-standard environment. The course follows Wilderness Medical Society guidelines and practices. This course is not intended for those who professionally guide in alpine terrain, or individuals planning extended trips into remote wilderness without access to emergency assistance.

This program includes 2.5 days of hands-on, scenario-based training, supplemented with self-paced online learning.

Remote First Aid Certification:

Valid for 3 years

Basic First Aid with Level C CPR & AED certification:

Approved by Alberta Occupational Health and Safety
Valid for 3 years
Recognized in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Equivalence can be sought in BC at OFA1 level.
